These terms cover your use of Remindomatic, a renewal tracker for licenses, IDs and other credentials, operated by [your name or business name]. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Remindomatic is a convenience tool that helps you track expiration dates and send you reminders based on rules we've tried to get right for the credential types it supports. It is not an official source, it does not file anything on your behalf, and it is not a substitute for checking directly with the agency or organization that actually issues your credential. Renewal rules, deadlines and fees can change. You're solely responsible for knowing and meeting the real requirements for any license, ID, permit or certification you hold — including ones you track in Remindomatic.
We don't guarantee that any reminder will reach you. Email can be marked as spam, phone numbers change, carriers drop texts, and the service itself can have outages. A missed or undelivered reminder doesn't excuse a missed renewal, and we aren't liable for the consequences of a credential lapsing, expiring, or being revoked — including any license, permit (including a concealed pistol license or other firearms permit), registration or certification tracked in the app. Use Remindomatic as a backup, not your only system.
You can permanently delete your account and everything in it at any time, from the Settings tab. We may also suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where that's practical.
Remindomatic may currently be free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you what they cost before you're charged anything — nothing here commits you to a future fee.
Remindomatic is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its rules for any particular credential are complete or current.
To the fullest extent the law allows, [your name or business name] isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Remindomatic — including a lapsed or expired credential, a fee, fine, or loss of a privilege (such as the ability to carry concealed) that results from one. Our total liability for any claim relating to Remindomatic is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose (which is $0 if you're on a free plan).
Some places don't allow these limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.
We may update these terms or the app itself. For a material change to these terms, we'll update the date above and try to let active users know.
These terms are governed by the laws of [your state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
